Deborah Wecselman was honored to design the Main Living Room for the 2026 Kips Bay Decorator Show House Palm Beach. A Designer’s Retrospective unfolds as a deeply personal portrait shaped by more than three decades as a designer, collector, and traveler. The space reads as an intimate journey through time — from her early years at Ralph Lauren in New York to the layered, globally informed practice she leads today in Miami. At its core, the room is evocative of her own living room: layered, evolving, and composed over time rather than designed all at once.
Rather than a spotlight on trends, the room embraces an enduring design approach through thoughtfully accumulated pieces, material dialogue, and craftsmanship. Highlights include an Olga de Amaral Textile, a Diango Hernandez painting, a one-of-a-kind Aurisino Coffee Table by Alex Turco via Artemest; a Neotropic mirror by LGS Studio through The Future Perfect; a hand-blown glass ceiling fixture by Jamie Harris for Todd Merrill Studio; and a Visionnaire Siona blue polished lacquered wood and leather bar unit.
